One Health & More: New Pathways in Veterinary Medicine 2026
To ensure the continued ability to perform research at the highest level and to strengthen networking within the University, the Rectorate of the Vetmeduni is issuing a call for two to three PhD programmes. A total of 15 PhD positions will be supported, embedded in interdisciplinary approaches that are closely aligned with the University’s research priorities as set out in the development plan or that pave the way for future priority topics. Aspects such as the integration of clinical and non-clinical research, the application of digital methods and the implementation of the 3Rs should be considered. Although excellent research is central, PhD programmes are training programmes; special attention should be paid to educational and training aspects.
